  • YAAAAA!!!! Disaster.

Sooooooo....this is ridiculous. My boss is trying to keep me from graduating. So unfair. I gotta try to get my stuff together and get outta here!!!

I need to stay focused or else I'm history. In a bad way. I thought everything was in place, but apparently that might not be the case. I'm such a loser. I can't even think straight right now. I'm so distracted. And tired. And depressed.

    Sigh.

    This is funny though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=upgS56ORpZQ

  • I am El Cheapo!!

I know a lot of cosmetic whores like my self tend to like buying all sorts of expensive skin treatments and makeup.  However, in this economy, that's not always a good thing.  Now, it's ok to keep using a few of your fancy products (if it ain't broke don't fix it).  But, try to economize whenever possible (especially if you've been eyeing that Perricone Cold plasma.  Shit's expensive!!!).

First on the chopping block, CLEANSERS.  Although there is some benefit if cleansers with tons of additive, the benefit is minimal since you wash the stuff off.  Try using a drug store brand.  One that I LOVE is basis.  I had stopped using it since I had trouble finding it for a while, but if you can find it, it's great.  Approx 5-6 bucks.

Next, TONERS.  There are a lot on the market and sometimes it's hard to figure out what you want or need.  I say just make sure there is no alcohol.  A tried and true toner is Witch Hazel.  It's a bark extract and helps with acne, redness, and puffyness.  I use Thayer's with Aloe Vera.  Approx 7-8 bucks.

Speaking of ACNE, don't waste your money on that proactive crap.  I used it for a long time and saw NO benefit.  If anything, it made my skin worse.  Try the clean and clear advantage set.  I use it only when I have a breakout, but I use the spot treatment all the time.  It's great.    Approx 25 bucks.

  • Definitive proof. Demi is delusional.

Demi Moore is in great shape for someone her age.  Really.  She is.  But it is definitely not her body on the cover of W magazine.  She swears that it is, but does anyone really believe that (besides herself and Ashton)?  What tipped me off is something that my trainers and I call "the surfboard effect."  This is where a woman overworks her obliques, thus almost eliminating her waistline/hourglass shape and leading to a flat, surfboard look.  Don't believe me?  Check the evidence.

The waist indentation is clear on the mag cover.  Granted you can corset in, but that is effective on a flabby waist, not a muscular one like Demi's.

AHA!  More proof.  The cover body is almost identical to the runway model wearing the dress!  The body shape and tone shows an uncanny resemblance.  Ah, the wonders of Photoshop.

So kids what have we learned today?
    1) Photoshop is amazing.
    2) Demi is either deluded or high to believe that this is actually her.
    3) Go easy on the oblique workouts if you want a sexy waist.
